Yoli Business Review – Is Yoli the Next Big MLM Company?

Yoli - The Next MLM Giant?
The Yoli MLM business opportunity went into pre-launch on September 30th, 2009 and will officially launch on January 22nd, 2010. Yoli’s corporate headquarters are in Salt Lake City, Utah. The founders of Yoli are Robby Fender, Rick Eisele, Corey Citron, Daren Falter, Michael Prichard, and Bobby Jones. According to their company website, each founder of Yoli has built network marketing organizations of several thousands to hundreds of thousands of Distributors, who have collectively sold millions of dollars in product volume every month. This would seem to give credence to the claim that Yoli is a company founded by Distributors for Distributors.
At first glance, the Yoli product line would seem to be just another “me too” functional juice beverage. While this has been a very successful product category in the MLM industry, some would argue that there are too many overpriced bottles of the next exotic superfruit each and every month. However, a closer inspection of the unique delivery system used by Yoli’s patented Blast Cap technology, as well as their lower product price point, warrants a more thorough consideration.
The Yoli Blast Cap technology consists of a sealed plastic cap containing freeze-dried superfruits such as pomegranate, acai, lycium (goji) berry, antioxidents such as resveratrol and white tea leaf extract, as well as live active enzymes, probiotics, and minerals. The ability to freeze dry and seal the ingredients in the Blast Cap eliminates the need for preservatives and pasteurization. Yoli has no sugar, no artificial sweeteners or colors, and has a low glycemic index rating.
As previously mentioned, one very competitive feature of the Yoli Blast Cap product line is their price. While most MLM company juice products have a wholesale price of $20 to $40 per bottle, an 18 oz. bottle of Yoli Truth Citrus Health Blast wholesales for $3.99. Once you have one of Yoli’s reusable branded bottles, Blast Caps can be reordered for $2.50 per cap. Considering that the Yoli Blast Cap delivery system can be used for any speciality ingredient on the market now, or in the future, and can deliver the nutrients in a more potent form, other MLM companies with functional beverages may be hard pressed to substantiate the relative value of their more expensive products in comparison.
Yoli utilizes a hybrid binary compensation plan, a proven plan used by some of the more successful companies in the last several years. Hybrid binaries are a synergy of the best parts from both traditional binary and unilevel plans. There are nine ways to earn income in the Yoli compensation plan. The Yoli founders are also very focused on solving the number one Achilles Heel of the MLM industry: attrition. To combat this, the company has created something they call the Break Even Bonus, which allows Distributors to cover their monthly autoship by personally sponsoring just 2-6 people.
Like many popular MLM companies, Yoli gives back a portion of revenues to various charitable organizations through their “To Live Is To Give” Program. Yoli has also partnered with “Trees for the Future”, and plants 10 trees for every new Distributor enrollment. Yoli has made an initial commitment to plant at least one million trees.
Considering the company is still in pre-launch, Yoli has a surprisingly robust marketing system already available to their Distributors. This is likely largely due to the fact that Corey Citron, Yoli’s Chief Marketing Officer, has extensive prior experience creating innovative marketing systems when he was in the field as a successful Distributor. In summary, while there can be no certainty that Yoli will become the next big industry giant, it is clear that Yoli has many factors in their favor: leadership with corporate and field experience, unique and competitive products, an innovative compensation plan, and a turn key marketing system.
Regardless of the above mentioned strengths of Yoli, nothing will change the fact that success in this or any network marketing company will depend upon how much consistent daily action each Distributor takes, and how adept they are at getting a steady stream of interested prospects in front of their product and opportunity presentation every day.
